FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Ken, why don’t you sell ground coffee?

 A. Sorry, if you are not grinding your coffee mere seconds from putting it in your espresso/coffee maker,  then you really should consider buying a less expensive coffee. So many of the benefits of using Kona Ken’s coffee will be lost by being in the ground state for a long period of time. See the ABOUT KONA COFFEE page on “Why buy fresh roasted coffee” for more information.

Q. Ken, why is Kona coffee so expensive?

 A. Because it is heavily pampered by proud farmers, carefully fertilized and pruned, hand picked by expensive talented labor, expertly processed to insure the highest quality product,  inspected (with fees) by government officials, and grown on rich, fertile, high priced Hawaii Island American soil. It truly is a very rare gourmet product.
